Peter Dawes – Oakapple

After ignoring all advice and choosing to do Maths, German and French at A-level, I went on to graduate in German. I subsequently did a PGCE in languages, and taught German and French for 16yrs fulltime. (I even got to teach PE too. Those were the days – I was young, slim and keen and no-one cared about Health, Safety or the small matter of a qualification…)

Since 2000 I’ve been an independent teacher-trainer, working freelance visiting schools both in the U.K. and Europe, and also running courses for Dragonfly Training.

I train teachers at both Primary and Secondary level and cover most NC subjects. Maths, MFL and English have been my major focus.
